Booth Applications

We are excited to be celebrating the 35th anniversary of Steppin’ Out this year! As the festival has grown and the economy has improved over the past ten years we have been proud to remain steadfast in our festival fee structure.

However we now need to raise our fee to a more competitive rate in order to continue providing the high quality offered by our festival for 35 years. We will be using a two step- two year increase plan to bring the fee up to $200. Your fee this year to participate will be $175. Thank you for your continued participation of Steppin' Out.

Steppin' Out is not only the area's premier festival, it has become the Town of Blacksburg's very own family reunion. Crowds have been estimated at more than 45,000 for the weekend - always the first Friday and Saturday in August.

Two types of booths are available, for vendors and community organizations.

Arts/Crafts Vendor Information

Our Arts/Crafts Vendor Application Information has the details on eligibility (for example, all arts and crafts must be handmade - no buy/sell merchandise accepted). Booth size, set up and tear down times, and the application process are also covered. Deadline is Friday, May 1, 2015.

Community Connection (for Non-profits)

The Community Connection is where charitable groups, clubs, school teams, and associations gather to share information, attract new donors, sign up volunteers, and raise awareness for their causes. Applications are considered as received, and booth spaces are limited.
